This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Philadelphia peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I thought it was a Vietnamese restaurant, but it turned out to be Thai. The food is authentic Thai flavor. The location isn't great, so I didn't dare park my car nearby and had to eat in. So I got it to go.

This place is FIRE! It is under the bridge but it’s safe, the inside of this restaurant is beautiful. The food is incredible. The service is excellent. The cook top notch. The recommendations did not disappoint. Let me put it this way, everything I had tonight was a flavor bomb. The restaurant is a true gem. I do a ton of ratings, have worked in the food industry and with celebrity chefs, well traveled etc etc….. EAT here!

Love this place so much!!! They’re great with allergies especially gluten. They left me a voicemail to confirm what contained gluten in my order that I should steer clear of. I love their Penang curry with crispy tofu! Absolutely delicious and fast delivery!

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now, and I can confidently say the food has always been consistently delicious. I usually order the Kow Piek Sen β€” a Lao-style handmade rice noodle soup topped with bean sprouts, cilantro, scallions, and crispy fried garlic. It’s been my go-to favorite for a while. Today, I decided to switch things up and try the Khaopoon King soup, and I’m so glad I did β€” it has officially earned a spot among my favorites. Shoutout to Mariah for encouraging me to try something new! The atmosphere is always clean, calm, and inviting. The space is beautifully decorated with real flowers and softly lit candles, which adds such a nice touch. The bathroom is consistently spotless too β€” and honestly, that’s usually how you can tell a place takes pride in their food and service! I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the soup this time, but I did order a papaya salad and had it made extra spicy β€” just how I like it. Next time I visit, I’ll be sure to update with pictures and a more detailed review. Definitely a hidden gem. πŸ’›
